The Tennessee Titans and The Dairy Alliance awarded the Titans’ Hometown Grant to Warren County Public Schools on Tuesday, Oct. 26, 2021. This is the first Titans’ Hometown Grant awarded to a Kentucky school district. The funding will be used to promote healthy eating and physical activity at three middle schools. The three schools will each receive $2,000 to purchase sustainable P.E. equipment and $4,000 will be used by the WCPS’ Nutrition and Dining Department to purchase smoothie bikes, stationary bikes that blend fresh fruit and vegetable smoothies!
The NFL Fuel Up to Play 60 Hometown Grant program provides deserving schools with funding to help facilitate sustainable physical activity and healthy eating programs for students. Since 2014, the program has provided more than 700 schools nationwide with funds and resources, resulting in more than one million students staying physically active and making healthier food choices.
