Principal Message

We have had a spectacular start to the 2019-2020 school year!  The 2019-2020 school year marks the 10th year we have opened our doors!  This year, we will be celebrating a decade of excellence with our Spar”10”ial.  In 10 years, South Warren has grown from 800 students to approximately 1400. We are excited about the opportunities we will provide students this year and are thankful for the support we receive from our parents/guardians and community.

South Warren High School is committed to ensuring safety, achievement, and opportunities for all of our students.  When you visit South Warren, you will notice that our district has invested in the safety of our staff and students by adding additional security measures to our front office.  You will also notice that our School Resource Officer is more visible to students and guests who enter South Warren. We are also committed to meeting the needs of all of our students by hand scheduling each student in a SWORD class each quarter.  Students are placed in an intervention or enrichment class based on data we collect throughout the school year.  You can learn more about our SWORD classes by clicking on the “About SWHS” tab on the South Warren website. We also want to provide opportunities for students to be involved.  Club Rush is an excellent way for students to learn more about the 20 plus clubs we offer. More information about clubs can be found on our school website under the “Activities/Athletics” tab.

We are looking forward to a great year at Sparta!  Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions or concerns!
